Self-Care Tips

What have you done for YOU lately? I encourage you to take time out of your day and focus on YOU. Whether you are a parent, student, or just a person that is always on the go; self-care is so important and is often ignored. My challenge for you is to take ten minutes out of your day (let's start small) and focus on absolutely nothing. This is called meditation. Meditation helps us by removing all of the noise that our everyday lives brings and centers us on the calm that lies within our souls. When you meditate, focus on something that calms you and brings you peace. Me? I love to hear birds chirping so meditation works best for me outside in nature. While the weather has changed, try going on YouTube and finding some nature sounds or calming music and CENTER yourself. You will feel much better after doing this more often.
